The "Safe Space" is a place where you are welcomed and accepted regardless of your sexuality. We are an alliance gathered to create an environment free of judgment, to educate the campus about different issues within the LGBT community, and to assist in fighting for equal rights within the community.
University of Illinois at Chicago
We are passionate about our mission to create a more inclusive campus and catalyze positive social change. Through innovative programs, interactive workshops, special events, and the sharing of resources, we challenge heteronormativity and promote deeply engaged and life affirming thinking, learning, and action.
North carolina Central university
NCCU teaches that with success comes responsibility. We were the first in the state system to require all students to volunteer in the community as part of their education. Our programs in community service emphasize that personal success in life includes giving something back.
Our mission is to provide a safe place for our students to express their own unique individuality, and to feel reaffirmed by the surrounding faculty, staff, and other students throughout all facets of the Willamette experience.
