To celebrate Alabama Marriage Equality Day we will honor the sacredness of relationships among people of color as true siblings. Marginalized women often endure traumas, micro and macro aggressions from infancy through adulthood that are carried into friendships and other intimate relationships.
Rachelle Burrow will be our lead facilitator with the assistance of a moderator.
We seek to nurture bonds of kinship and solidarity among Black, Brown, Indigenous Transgender and Queer Women by looking in the mirror and exploring opportunities for growth.
This BLK Sibling Circle will explore siblinghood, healing, self care, affirmation, trauma, domestic violence, abuse, parenting and other shared experiences through the context of Transgender and Queer Women of Color raised in the South.
