L.I.N.K. FEST was founded by Caitlin L. Douglas of Once You Go Black, LLC in January of 2017. What started as a grassroots effort to restore amicable relationships between neighboring communities took a life of its own. As time would prove, there was a vital need for a platform in the Shreveport/Bossier Area for creative entrepreneurs to network with their peers, while building rapport with the very community they aim to serve. From soap makers to palm readings, L.I.N.K. FEST is the best platform for these individuals to show the S.B.C. why they deserve the support of the community they love.

Designed with the spirit of entrepreneurship in mind  this event was divided into two essential parts: The Mixer and The Main Event. In attendance, our vendors, sponsors, performers and all event affiliates are invited to engage each other in thought and creative banter in a warm, intimate setting. All Main Event participants are invited to showcase their unique abilities among the very peers they share a common affinity for craft with, and establish lifetime connections along the way.

THE MAIN EVENT! This is where the fun happens. Attendance for the Main Event is open to the public. Here, the whole of Shreveport, Bossier and surrounding areas is invited to experience what their local, creative counterparts have to offer! The day-of-event (June 16, 2018) activities are guaranteed to get the creative juices flowing in all those who engage in conversation, establish working relationships, allow their minds to wonder, and most importantly, #LINKUP with all who've dedicated their time to delivering quality and memorable experiences to the community they best serve
